Adding country codes to phone numbers ensures they can be dialed correctly from anywhere in the world. This is essential for international businesses, global contact lists, and any situation where phone numbers might be used across different countries. Properly formatted international numbers typically start with a plus sign (+) followed by the country code and then the local number.
The character removal option allows you to remove a specific number of characters from the beginning of each phone number before adding the country code. This is useful for removing leading zeros or other prefixes that shouldn't be included in the international format. For example, in many countries, local numbers start with a "0" that should be removed when adding the country code. In this case, you would set the character removal option to 1.
Our tool supports both modern Excel files (.xlsx) and legacy Excel files (.xls). The tool will automatically detect the format and process it accordingly. The output will be in the same format as the input file, with the phone numbers updated to include the selected country code.
The maximum file size for processing is 5MB. For larger files, consider splitting your Excel file into smaller chunks or contact us for custom solutions.
